Northrup Grumman Innovation Systems, Space Systems Group - Integrated Operations Directorate is looking for Curriculum Designer/Instructors to join the Integrated Operations Training Department team. Curriculum designers create, manage, and maintain

training products that will be delivered to customers in support of mission operations. As a curriculum designer/instructor, the selected candidate will be required to design and develop training material to support automated scenarios, mission exercises and certification check rides for the customer and internal operations personnel.

The position may require the candidate to execute classroom instruction and scenario training in the mission simulator. Other responsibilities include working with the Mission/Systems Leads to identify training needs and develop training plans and curriculum such as reference guides and evaluation tools. The Curriculum Designer/Instructor will also work

with mission operations personnel to ensure training curriculum and scenarios accurately represent current operational documentation used during on-orbit checkout, satellite commissioning, and execution of the primary mission.

S/he may also be required to interface with program and customer personnel regularly in support of training events. As a curriculum designer-instructor, applicants will be responsible for ensuring training products are consistent with department standards by developing, reviewing, and approving training products within the training department. Applicants may be asked to support multiple programs to ensure standardization across the spectrum of missions the Integrated Operations Training Department manages.

Candidates will work with Training Leads and Deputy Training Leads to ensure curriculum is developed and delivered in accordance with contract requirements and timelines. Product deliveries include: Lesson Plans, Power Point Presentations, Training Videos, Hands-on Training Scenarios, Test/Quizzes, Student Guides, Training Plans, and other training material as necessary to support contractual training requirements. Must work collaboratively in a team environment across engineering disciplines to accomplish mission goals. Must excel in a fast-paced mission focused environment.

Must be able to meet rapid development timelines. Specific experience and responsibilities shall include: Developing training material IAW Instructional System Design and ADDIE Deliver training to customers in support of instructor led training events Operating training simulators/systems in support of training activities On-Console Command and Control Satellite Operations experience Ground System anomaly troubleshooting and resolution experience Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO) experience Mission Planning and Orbital Analysis experience Experience w/ MS Office Suite products This position can be filled as a level 3 or level 4 depending on experience and qualifications.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree - STEM field preferred Top Secret clearance, SSBI / SCI eligible required 5 years (level 3) or 9 years (level 4) of relevant experience Minimum of 3 years of Space Operations/Training experience Preferred Qualifications: Web/video based training development experience Lesson plan and test/quiz (original work) development experience within Do D programs Simulation/scenario development experience Experience utilizing training development tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360, etc.

Mission Planning and Orbital Analyst experience Advanced Orbital Mechanics knowledge and experience Experience with the agile process and scrums Experience with JIRA Salary Range: $95,000 - $130,000 Salary Range 2: $115,000 - $160,000The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
