Training/Certifications: Required Minimum Work Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in K-12 education and college/university teaching experience to be considered for appointment.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties: Ability to use a variety of teaching techniques in individual and group settings. Ability to integrate problem solving and critical thinking into the Health & Physical Education teaching learning process. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Time management skills. Additional Desirable Qualifications Additional Desirable Qualifications: University teaching experience
in Health & Physical Education. K-12 teaching experience beyond 3 years.
Expertise in Health & Physical Education. Evidence of scholarship related to Health & Physical Education. Experience in developing community partnerships. Experience and evidence of positive coaching. Expertise with various teaching technology platforms. Experience and knowledge with teacher education accreditation requirements. Ability to work in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment.
