and observing relevant laws and policies that govern practice Evaluating and treating students Meet with individual students to provide one-on-one counseling Implement developmentally and academically appropriate backssments of identified students Serve as a member of the Child Study Team and discusses intervention strategies Identify at-risk students for early evaluation Work with students and their families to develop strategies (including referrals to outside agencies) for addressing the emotional needs of students and their families Provide advice to teachers and administrators on how to best support these and other students Meet with students in groups for group counseling sessions Facilitate
