Responsibilities: Conduct psychological backssments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and social development. Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing a variety of issues such as academic performance, behavioral concerns, and social skills. Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement strategies to support students with diverse needs. Assist in the prevention and management of
bullying and other social-emotional issues within the school community. Conduct crisis intervention and provide support during challenging situations. Consult with parents and guardians to provide guidance and support in addressing their child's psychological and behavioral needs.
Work with community resources and agencies to provide additional support for students and families when necessary. Stay informed about current trends and research in the field of school psychology, and apply this knowledge to enhance services and interventions. Collaborate with the school's multidisciplinary team to contribute to a positive school climate and culture. Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree
in School Psychology or a related field. State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to special education and student support services. Experience in conducting psychological backssments and providing counseling services in an educational setting. Strong organizational and time management skills.
