With outpatient and community-based programs, South Light provides prevention, education

and treatment services in the Triangle and beyond. South Light has multiple office locations throughout the Triangle area, serving more than 9,000 clients each year.

Services include adult outpatient counseling, Intensive Outpatient Program, Psychiatric Services and Medication Management, Opioid Treatment Program, Court Deferral Program, Peer Support Services, Family Centered Treatment, Community Support Team and a residential treatment program for women and children and more. Schedule Fully remote - two weekends per month, Saturday and Sunday from 9am-1pm. Pay $25.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities of a Drug and Alcohol Education Instructor • Teach defendants the effects of alcohol and

drugs mentally, physically, and legally • Utilize education materials approved by Judicial Services management • Prepare and maintain documents for the program and the courts • Maintain safe environment conducive to learning • Locate and acquire approved substitute instructor in the case you are not able to be present • Be available to support clients fifteen minutes before class and remain present until every student leaves the premises • Turn in status reports and rosters to courthouse staff Qualifications of a Drug and Alcohol Education Instructor • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or Social Services preferred with 2 years of substance abuse education experience or • High School Diploma plus 10 years of substance abuse education experience CADC required or LCAS/LCASA How to Apply You may apply at our website: www.
