with an after school tutoring program called Brain Hurricane at Van Buren Elementary school in Stockton for 2 months. I have very good understanding of most subjects up to the middle school level and I have knowledge of math up to Calculus, linear algebra, discrete mathematics as well as computer science.
I am also a confident analytical and creative writer at the college level. I was comfortable working with groups of around 4 or 5 kids with my last job, however I think I do my best work work with individual students. I am very friendly and patient with children and I always find working with them to self-motivating. While my major is in computer science, I am also planning to be an
English teacher in Asia for a year at some point down the road so I'm focusing on gaining as much teaching experience as I can. I will be available December, January and possible February.
I'll have plenty of time to dedicate to the position and Although I live in Modesto, commuting in the local area is not a problem for me.
