an experienced School Psychologist to join our team in South Lake Tahoe, CA. Requirements: Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Valid California School Psychologist credential Compliance with local and state regulations for School Psychologists Experience working with special education students and their families is highly preferred Responsibilities: As a School
Psychologist, you will be responsible for: backssment and Evaluation: Conducting psychological backssments to identify students' strengths and areas of need. Interpreting backssment results to provide recommendations for educational planning.
Counseling and Intervention: Providing counseling services to individuals and groups to address academic, social, and emotional concerns. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement effective interventions. Consultation: Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Offering guidance on effective classroom management and positive behavior interventions.
Crisis Intervention: Responding to and managing crises as they arise, providing necessary support to students and staff.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate and confidential records of backssments, interventions, and counseling sessions.
