apply them to NASC and backss the impact of new or changing EHS regulations.
Establish targets and goals that reflect continuous improvement in NASC's performance in EHS areas. Design reports, and gather, analyze, and present data. to update senior leadership on progress of goal attainment. Use data to proactively identify and address areas of concern. Support NASC DCs in implementing and executing the NASC strategy and achieving EHS goals and metrics by ensuring the strategy and goals are executed. developing program, policies, and process; and providing guidance, coaching and tools to DC leaders and EHS leaders. Initiate and prioritize EHS programs and projects.
Lead or play a key role in their requirements, design, build, and implementation. This may be as an individual or via project leadership. Ensure initiatives meet quality, time and budget parameters and incorporate strong change management to ensure adaptation. Ensure EHS is involved and engaged in discussion and decisions around architecture changes, Material Handling Equipment technology, Conveyor installation, new equipment, and technology deployment, Support DC Operations in developing EHS bench-strength, and subsequent talent pipeline for EHS roles through capabilities backssments and cross-pollination of talent for projects needing EHS support within the NA Distribution centers.
Competencies: Extensive knowledge EHS regulations, best practices and EHS management systems, and the ability to analyze and interpret EHS regulations and their applicability to various parts of the organization. Must be a solution-oriented collaborator who can lead a team, influence decision and work collaboratively across multiple businesses, regions, and functions with associates at all levels of the organization. The ability to think strategically and execute effectively and efficiently.
Experience developing and presenting data and recommendations at an executive level. Strongoralandwrittencommunicationsskills Solid Continuous Improvement experience (Lean) in manufacturing, distribution, or business process. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in EHS, Engineering, Science or related discipline. Minimum 10 years experience working in environmental health and safety management.
