This position requires the candidate to work closely with our consultants and analysts to independently analyze complex problems and develop workable solutions for our clients, which include large corporations, captive insurance companies, state regulators, and healthcare provider systems. The candidate will eventually have significant interaction and visibility with Oliver Wyman's exciting and diverse client portfolios. Primary responsibilities may include: Assist in a wide range of coding and data science projects, including data process automation, database construction, web app development and actuarial model development Compile, verify and/or reasonability check client data Work within a team environment to understand new and emerging clients' needs and develop solutions to satisfy client demands Prepare and/or oversee production exhibits and reports to present findings to key stakeholders Assist or lead in the preparation of proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
Attend client meetings, and develop marketing and sales materials as required Qualifications and Desired Skills BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field 2+ years of experience with coding in R or Python, prior consulting or insurance related experience a plus.
