Summary Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Director, Strategy and Board Operations to join our WPMG HQ team in Renton, Washington. JOB SUMMARY Provides strategic leadership in the development and timely execution of strategic projects and plans to support the mission,

vision and values of Washington Permanente Medical Group (" WPMG" ). Acts as an advisor or thought partner by structuring undefined issues for resolution, researching issues, summarizing information and working with relevant stakeholders to provide the executive team with the information needed to make sound and timely decisions.

May manage others or support staff. Conduit to the WPMG Board of Directors facilitating key work and committees in the execution of board priorities. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibility Description Serve as a business and strategic partner to the Washington Permanente Medical Group executive leaders. Contributes to strategic discussions

within the Executive Leadership Team. Implement key parts of the overall strategy.

Drives for business results by focusing on measurable evidence and outcomes, supporting leaders in backssing progress and strategizing for action plans. Ability to run financial models and data analysis. Participates in many KPWA processes and projects with the objective of supporting leadership and teams to ensure highly effective practices delivering affordable world-class care and service. Partners with KPWA around service delivery planning and new facility business case design. Tying together the key operational, financial and strategic content specific to WPMG (staffing, ramp up, productivity, throughput, space, etc) Main administrative liaison to the WPMG Board of Directors, advising on board work plans and objectives.

Manages the Performance Committee of the WPMG Board of Directors. Accountable for researching and communicating the external healthcare and medical group trends in the local and national market to the WPMG Board of Directors and Executive leadership. Manages as delegated, the WPMG Enterprise Risk Mgmt system, through the Executive team and the WPMG Board of Directors. Collaborates with key stakeholders in the development and execution of WPMG Board of Directors 5-year guiding principles.

Manages the overall multi-year workforce planning staffing model with accountability for operational backssment and validation, alignment with HP projections/funding/space design, and integration into the WPMG budget and operational execution handoff. Manages the FTE position control on behalf and in partnership with CFO. Inclusive of administrative FTE processes, guidelines, and auditing. Conduit between finance, operations and HR for strategic approach to FTE management system. Prepare materials summarizing relevant information for the Executive Leaders.

Work with the executive leadership team and KP Medical Foundation to develop dashboards, work plans, and/or other tracking and reporting systems, all of which will communicate the value and impact of organization work. Co-design and apply quantitative and qualitative evaluation approaches for organizational initiatives, as well as ad hoc activities. Direct all Administrative team meetings, reinforcing a supportive work environment and increase staff engagement to improve operational effectiveness. Direct all Administrative Managers team meetings, business cycle work, increasing engagement, increasing ownership and ensuring the work Administration is driving toward meets our operational and strategic initiatives.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS EDUCATION REQUIRED DESCRIPTION PREFERRED Minimum: BA degree Master's Degree or Master's Degree in health-related field. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED DESCRIPTION PREFERRED Minimum: 5 years complex project management experience, 5 years strategic planning and execution experience, preferable in the health care field 5 years' experience working with senior leadership in healthcare organization 5+ years of same Washington Permanente Medical Group is based in Washington State and this position requires that you live in Washington state.

Compensation and Benefits The entire salary range for this position is $162,147.00 to $192,827.51 and will be prorated based on FTE. Placement of new hires will be in the range of $162,147.00 to $177,188.00 based on factors such as education, training or experience.
