Key Responsibilities & Results Facilitate compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements, including those related to distributed energy resources, renewable and carbon free energy, and energy efficiency.

Manages portfolio of environmental attributes, including retirement of attributes as required to comply with state standards. Maintains internal tracking and forecasts of environmental attributes and performs analytics to support attribute management strategy. Performs research and analytics to inform Energy Conservation Optimization (ECO) compliance

strategy. Participates in regulatory and stakeholder forums, and other meetings as needed, to represent Connexus in the context of regulatory compliance.

Leads the preparation and filing of power supply-related compliance materials, including supporting data and documentation. Track and analyze MISO market data, follows and/or participates in MISO stakeholder groups, leverages MISO market insights and data in support of portfolio risk management. Perform research, produce reports, and manage and visualize data to facilitate compliance with MISO market rules and regulations, and execution of Connexus Energy’s market strategies, including registration of Load Modifying Resources.

Coordinate with external partner on market-related activities and reporting. Develops and maintains MISO market data dashboards; tracks market data as needed. Supports portfolio risk management activities through market research and data analytics. Develop project plans, manage external consultants, build models, perform research and analytics, prepare reports, and present data in support of resource planning activities. Coordinate external consultants and/or build and maintain load forecasting and resource forecasting models to support long-term resource planning and portfolio transition.

Perform research and analytics on consumer trends Document, package, and present resource planning materials, including data visualizations. Performs analytics as needed, aligned with organizational and division goals. Required Education and Expertise: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, math, statistics, energy management, engineering, data science or related field Two or more years of electric utility or comparable energy industry experience Excellent written and oral communication skills adaptable for use with all levels of employees Strong analytical and problem solving skills Preferred Education and Expertise: Graduate degree Experience with energy efficiency, conservation and/or demand response programs Experience with the State of Minnesota’s e-docket system Familiarity with Minnesota state statute regulated to power supply planning, energy efficiency, renewable energy and electric cooperatives Tableau or Power BI skills preferred Pre-Employment Requirement: Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
