success is our Employees; we have the Best in the business. We are looking for a detailed, organized project estimator to join our team. This is a full-time position; Monday - Friday. The annual salary range is $60,000 - $75,000 plus bonus. The primary job function of the project estimator is to is to provide cost estimating of commercial HVAC products on plan spec projects in the building construction industry.
The candidate will work closely with our sales team reviewing plans and specifications, product takeoff, pricing products and quote preparation. Candidate will collaborate with the senior estimator, sales and engineering team to accurately price and quote all projects. Project
Estimator / Commercial HVAC Responsibilities Reviewing mechanical plans and specifications to identify what products to bid on Taking off all products from the plans and specifications to ensure an accurate scope.
Products will include airside end devices such as GRD, Fans, Unit Heaters and other products sold by Texas Air Products Using software tools such as OST and Bluebeam to perform the take-offs Using estimating software programs to accurately price products Preparing detailed quotations Identifying risks Participating in bid reviews Technical writing Requirements: 5 years' experience in estimating; commercial HVAC Knowledge of commercial HVAC Systems Ability to understand and read
commercial mechanical plans Knowledge of airside end devices such as GRD, Fans, Unit Heaters Attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Flexibility and multitask oriented Excellent organization skills, accuracy and dependability.
