Job Summary : The Director of Engineering oversees all physical plant related functions in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Functional areas include engineering, building maintenance, grounds, and safety. Support mission, vision, and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting company culture and vision. and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting company culture and vision. Monitor status of building and grounds; plan for needed maintenance, repair, supplies, and equipment.

Administer the Property/Community Risk Management Procedure Plan. Direct staff project assignments within budget and on schedule, adhering to quality and safety. Develop and monitor departmental budget, forecasts and staffing plan. Ensure proper utilization of financial resources. Develop methods for coordination of the departments’ services with other Resident services, to ensure the continuity of the Residents' total regimen of care. Plan, direct, and evaluate activities of engineering, maintenance and

safety in compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) At least 3 years of progressively responsible work experience in physical Engineering in the senior living industry or related environment.
