Duties and Responsibilities: In this role, you will: Lead and direct the repair of electrical and mechanical systems, adhering to electrical codes, manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Effectively schedule and assign daily tasks to maintenance staff, ensuring the completion of work orders and maintaining a proactive approach to equipment maintenance. Coordinate maintenance technicians'
schedules and maintain a database for equipment calibrations, demonstrating a commitment to precision and reliability. Provide leadership and support for Lean Manufacturing initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment, contributing to overall operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, to identify and address equipment and process deficiencies, modifying equipment or processes as needed to achieve the principal objective. Manage spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment inventories, negotiating with vendors to secure
favorable pricing. Prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for enhancing operations and resolving maintenance-related challenges.
Ensure that maintenance associates are well-trained, equipped, and motivated to carry out maintenance activities safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. Oversee the maintenance of a computerized maintenance management system, tracking work orders and maintenance history for production equipment. Track, analyze, and improve key maintenance metrics such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, and schedule compliance. Qualifications and Experience Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should possess: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Demonstrated previous technical supervisory experience showcasing effective management skills. Proven experience in troubleshooting mechanical systems with electronic controls. Five years of electrical experience with manufacturing equipment. Five years of mechanical experience with manufacturing equipment. Experience in digital controls troubleshooting. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read specifications and prints. Proficiency in using and manipulating computer applications such as Word and Excel.
