For additional information about APA Corporation, please visit: Portfolio Sustainability Investors Specific Responsibilities Mechanic Sr for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache’s Onshore Production Operations at the company’s Powell - Midland, TX office reporting to the Maintenance Foreman. The role of the production operations mechanic is to maintain, repair and trouble shoot all surface equipment and facilities in the given area of responsibility.

This includes a combination of well sites, flowlines, transfer lines, trunk lines, high pressure gas lines, test facilities, central processing facilities, SWD facilities, water injection facilities, compression skids, caliche pits, caliche roads, paved roads and site reclamation. The goal of the mechanic is to reduce downtime of all forms while ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and safe for the operators. A focus on operating cost is required at all times and in all geographic areas. This role requires site supervision training and the ability to manage multiple contract services and crews simultaneously.

It is the mechanics responsibility to hold the contract crews and companies accountable for safe and competent performance. The mechanic plays a pivotal role in safe work practices, especially related to contractor management, high risk activities, confined space, hot work, complex lifts, excavation, and breaking containment. The individual must possess the ability to work with all staff in their area to make sure the highest priority tasks are addressed. The closest relationships should be with the pumpers and the production foreman.

However due to the need for simultaneous operations they will need to work with the electricians, automation techs, measurement techs, instrument techs, emissions techs, water resource department, completions department, drilling department and the surface land department. Often times the mechanic will need to serve as the face of Apache when dealing with landowners in support of the production foreman. Specific Responsibilities: • Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of “control air” air compressors, and all equipment associated with compressor facility • Supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily maintenance and construction activities.

• Work with team members to set expectations and standards for contractor performance, including ensuring that they understand and abide by all of Apache’s environmental, safety, and operational standards. • Check for proper operation of all pumps and dump valves • Check air compressors, filters oil levels, belts, pressures and bleed lines • Perform visual inspection on all equipment daily, making necessary repairs • Perform scheduled oil changes on all equipment in a timely manner and perform routine maintenance according to manufacturer’s specifications.

• Notify supervisor when problems are suspected • Order, stock, and label spare equipment needed to keep facility in operation • Operate in a safe and environmentally sound manner • Stay in contact with vendors for equipment, oils, chemicals, and filters for updated revisions and recommendations • Review One-Call notifications, reply accordingly and record. • Keep facility clean and neat. • Must be able to legally operate a vehicle and have the ability to wear respirator protection and personal protective equipment as required. • Achieve CO2 operations certification where required • Respond 24/7 to emergency call outs Qualifications & Experience The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience: • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

• Must be safety minded and goal oriented with related industry experience. • Excellent time management skills • Good written and oral communication skills • Proficiency with PC-based computer applications • Knowledge of safe working procedures • Attention to detail • Construction experience preferred • Occasionally may be required to lift, carry, push or pull 10-100 pounds • Occasionally may require squatting, crawling and climbing • Frequently may require bending, reaching above shoulders, reaching to the floor, reading, writing, working at heights and working around moving machinery • Frequently exposed to marked changes in weather conditions including temperature and humidity • Continuously exposed to dust, fumes and gases • Continuously works independently without supervision and requires quick or important decision making • Job is classified as including medium physical work.
