Each internship will be customized to best align with your current/anticipated field of study, industry related interests, as well as any relevant prior experience you may have.
You will be paired with a company mentor who will provide guidance and support throughout the duration of the internship. Our goal is to ensure you are provided the best possible opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience, through a " hands on" learning approach, that will expose you to the wide range of roles necessary for the successful operation of an Industry Leading Asphalt &
Construction company. Responsibilities: Each and every job function, at any workplace, plays a critical role in the company's success. As a company that relies heavily on our " boots on the ground" we feel there is great value in learning this industry from the ground up.
This means that you should expect to spend time in both field and office settings. You will be asked to take on a variety of responsibilities throughout the summer, each of which will differ based on which divisions of the company you rotate through. Your customized internship will consist of one or more of the following divisions: Asphalt Paving - Commercial/Private (Field Operations) Asphalt Paving - Highway

In addition, we ask that the following qualifications can be met at/prior to the start date of the internship: Completed a minimum of your freshman year at a university/college. Currently pursuing a Construction Management, Construction Engineering/Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering Technology, Project Management or other related degree.
Achieved and/or maintained an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher. Access to a reliable means of transportation Committed to a " Safety Before Anything" attitude. Exceptional attendance, punctuality, dependability, reliability, and work ethic. Willingness to abide by all Brooks Construction workplace polices and requirements.
