Man Lifts, Water Trucks, Batch Plant, Concrete Mixer, and all equipment associated with the production Ability to read and interpret instructions and operation manuals and follow step-by-step instructions Observe equipment and listen to sounds to determine proper functioning or identify the cause of trouble Diesel (up to Tier 4F) and gas engine experience required Repair/troubleshoot diesel, gas, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment Repair and replace gears, drives, bearings, belts, chains, shafts, etc.
Maintain maintenance logs and inspections on all equipment Maintain repair cost log for all equipment Weld (ARC, MIG, and Gas Powered) and use a cutting torch Operate a variety
of hand/power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, and change parts as required Electrical work including PLC troubleshooting, motor controls, and circuit testing Ideal Candidate will be: Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills Skilled in the use of hand and power tools Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, electricity, welding, or related fields Works well independently and with others Good communication skills, bilingual in Spanish is a plus High school diploma/equivalent or equivalent in training, education, or experience Technical or vocational school certification or equivalent in training Experience, 2 years minimum with Diesel equipment Physical Requirements: Must be able

Summary This role is responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Head Mechanic. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Replace, install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair production equipment and electrical components
Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine how to correct them Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure production machines perform at an optimal level Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists Replace faulty parts, electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards Dismantle equipment to gain access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools Lubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operation Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts, and complete tasks as assigned Review and comprehend blueprints,
schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalog Operate all production machines to some degree to better understand machine capabilities and troubleshoot Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
