Knowledge, Education, and Experience: A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent industrial technical training in high-volume manufacturing processes is required. Four or more years of related maintenance manager experience in a manufacturing environment. Technically proficient with both mechanical and electrical. Ability to review and critique facility, manufacturing equipment, and schematic diagrams.
Detailed understanding of OSHA standards and regulations with a strong emphasis on safety. Travel between 25-50% of the time to support plant needs. The ability to effectively communicate and interact at many organizational levels, from the shop floor to high-level management.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and technical writing skills. Experience in using PCs in a professional setting - developing and using standard applications such as spreadsheets, databases, ERP, and CMMS as typical tools to execute. Must excel in a deadline-oriented environment and demonstrate high competence in organizing and prioritizing multiple work assignments. Ability to deal effectively with a
diversity of individuals at all organizational levels. Demonstrated ability to work independently within interpretive guidelines, take the initiative, and perform effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment; effective verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence; creative problem solving; great team player; working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.
