Mazak and Okuma. • Expert troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to component level on hydraulics, electronics, software, electrical, pneumatic, robotic and mechanical systems.
• Ability to develop Preventive Maintenance procedures with or without the use of tool manuals, technical documents. • Develop testing procedures and identify required adjustments of parts/equipment as needed. • Work based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions. • Responsible for the development, implementation, completion and accuracy of documentation related to assigned tasks. • May be assigned tasks outside the scope of this job description. Job Requirements • Maintain awareness and understanding
of documents published in the BMS Library, with specific competency of general as well as related field documents.
• AS Engineering degree or Advanced Certifications in newest technology machine maintenance and repair field or equivalent experience. • Ability to read and interpret part manuals. Complete understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions and troubleshooting guides. • Experienced with Okuma and Mazak CNC machinery or equivalent technology. • Experience with FANUC, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Alan Bradley and Okuma controls or equivilent. • Experienced with the use of diagnostic/specialty tools used in the troubleshooting & repair of machinery.
• Demonstrated high degree of industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical aptitude and repair abilities. • Experienced with electrical test equipment, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems. • Reading, writing and analytical math skills at a professional level. • Self starter with the ability to work unsupervised. • Ability to work effectively in a group (Team) environment. • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, must be able to speak/read/write English. • Must be willing to have flexible work hours.
