This role works between 2nd and 3rd shift. Tentative Schedule: Sunday - Thursday typically 8PM-5AM(This role may require weekends, holidays & off shift hours) Salary: $80K to $105K (depending on experience) Responsibilities: Oversees the planning and design of products, tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment and mechanical industrial processes.
Oversees production, installation, operations, maintenance, and repair of mechanically functioning equipment, including boilers, air compressors, refrigeration, wastewater treatment, process equipment and controls. Collaborates, works cross-functionally to build partnerships, and improve processes within the organization.
Drives engagement by creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives. Responsible for training and development of team members.
Supervises the day-to-day operations of a group of employees, manages schedules, approves overtime takes disciplinary actions, as necessary; and resolves issues. Assigns, monitors, and reviews the progress and accuracy of assigned work. Other duties as assigned. Education / Experience (Required): Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, plus 3 years of industrial manufacturing experience OR in lieu of degree, 7 years of industrial maintenance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
Supervisory, communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Computer and PLC skills (Allen Bradley preferred)Experience in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives. Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Skilled in applying broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in maintenance. will have a background and experience in industrial maintenance, PLC automation controls, high voltage applications, new equipment installations and wiring is required.
Must be able to provide support and scheduling for Preventive and Corrective electrical repairs, assist with department programs to ensure that production and plant objectives and goals are met and obtained. Strong electrical background is required, able to work with hydraulics, pneumatics, presses, conveyor systems, etc. Electrical experience should consist of 240/480v , AC/DC drives, single/three phase wiring practices, familiar with all safety regulations and electrical codes, able to read blue print and follow diagrams.
Minimum three years’ electrical experience required. All candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.
