Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks as assigned. This includes the effective repair, care and preventative maintenance of the auxiliary equipment and plant facilities which operate on a continuous basis. Provides suggestions to operations to improve process efficiency and has the ability
to assist in the implementation of those changes. Requirements: JOB QUALIFICATIONS : § High School Diploma or equivalent § Training or experience with electrical and mechanical systems role in an industrial environment.
§ Adept in both electrical and mechanical aspects of plant maintenance. § Required working knowledge of computers, especially knowledge of Microsoft Office. § Must possess excellent planning, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills and be able to maintain effective communication. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: § Frequently required to stand and walk. § Employee is frequently required to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally required to lift and/or move up to
100 pounds. § Manual dexterity is required. § Ability to climb ladders and work in heights less than 100 feet.
§ Adequate sight, speech and hearing abilities. § Required personal protective equipment devices must be capable of being worn. WORK ENVIRONMENT: § Manufacturing environment. § Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme heat and cold; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. § Noise level is usually low, however, at times very loud.
