S. Army Black Hawk UH-60 aircraft by researching maintenance and testing records to identify root causes of poor performing components and recommend corrective actions. Data analyzed will be used at various stages of the life cycle, such as Materiel Solution Analysis, Production & Deployment, etc. Support the Aviation System backssment Program (ASAP) by the scoring of Army Aviation field data, entering/integrating the data into
various Army, Do D, and industry databases, conducting analyses of the data, and advancing ASAP technological capability. Perform site visit investigations on current Army operations and maintenance activities to various Army bases to confirm findings in the data.
Must be able to perform complex calculations plus have knowledge of practices/principles necessary to backss systems concepts, specifications, and integration to include backssments of overall system impacts in evaluating proposed system changes (e. g. Engineering Change Proposals). May be required to attend workshops pertaining to system backssment to evaluate different methods of reliability backssment, and to perform site
visit investigations on current Army operations and maintenance activities to various Army bases to confirm findings in the data.
Requirements: BS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 3 years of task related experience or high school or equivalent and six years of task related experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. Must be authorized to work in the United States. S. Army Black Hawk UH-60 maintenance experience is a plus.
