where our team members get to work hands on from the lab to the aircraft in all stages of development, including design, code, integration, and lab and field test.

Discover Palmdale. YOUR IMPACT You will work closely with a multi-site team to develop solutions and support the overall testing of those solutions from the desktop to the lab and to the aircraft. You will be uniquely positioned to impact software development with your skills in graphics, services, and embedded software and integration testing with your skills in software deployment, troubleshooting, and debugging in a lab environment. You will have the ability for growth and exploration while learning from some of the brightest professionals in our industry.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance required to be considered. Engineering Aeronauticsaerosoftware Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree or above from an accredited college in a relevant field of study; or equivalent experience Experience with C and/or C++ Experience with the software development process in a team environment (peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, defect tracking) Experience designing and developing Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) Linux and Windows operating system development environment experience Desired Skills: Demonstrated experience with the following: Experience using Lua, Open GL, and/or Direct3D Experience with requirements generation Experience with system interface development System test and integration experience Experience with networking protocols (e.

g. IP, UDP, RTP, etc. ) Agile Software Development Must also demonstrate the following: Ability to build and maintain relationships and collaborative effectively with others Strong decision making and judgment skills Oral and written communication skills Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $70,500 - $135,000.

Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $81,000 - $152,600.
