Qualifications: Required/Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, Java Script, or Python OR equivalent experience 3+ years programming experience in C/C++ Experience developing and shipping GPU drivers for Windows, Linux, RTOS or similar systems Preferred Qualifications Software architecture and design experience Leading a Windows driver development Familiarity

with graphics APIs such as D3D or Vulkan System level power and performance analysis and operating system (OS) fundamentals Work across multiple teams to drive code quality and performance Software Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.

S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year. You will technically lead a team of low-level engineers and set the technical direction for graphics driver work.

This team works closely with several research and product teams to bring compelling new experiences to market. In addition to developing kernel and user-mode drivers, you will have the unique opportunity to work across Microsoft product teams such as Edge, Teams, and Office to bring new and unique experiences to Windows.
