of the Science and Technology Analyst articulates around two areas of focus. Pre-investment, the role is focused on discovery, analysis and due diligence tasks, while post-investment the role will focus on being an active part of the technical and operational collaborations with the new portfolio companies.

The analyst will also participate in ad-hoc Operations and supply chain projects with existing Portfolio companies. The base compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 commensurate with experience. About you1) Pre-Investment and due diligence: (50%)- Research, evaluate, and compare identified technologies and solutions in the field of Ag & Climate Tech, new and alternative ingredients. This requires a good level of understanding of technology and scientific principles (Biology-Chemistry, Human and Animal Life science, Industrial and Farming operations, Engineering)- Manage and conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex operational and technical data- Read

and assimilate scientific articles and publications to acquire additional subject matter expertise to understand the science behind innovations and their field of application.

- Reformulate scientific knowledge into shareable learning items for the team's benefit. - Identify potential competitive solutions, and perform comparative analyses between several companies, format, and present conclusions, as a part of an investment recommendation- Actively participate in IP evaluation of companies- Communicates complex scientific, technical, and business materials with Danone's Central teams (R&I, Engineering, Cycle & Procurement), and/or with local business counterparts- Create and manage relevant portions of due diligence action lists and delivers on assigned tasks.2) Post-Investment collaboration (30%)- Support the onboarding of new investees with the different Danone teams, ensuring a smooth transition into an active portfolio relationship.

- Create and follow up action plans- Facilitate and coordinate interactions and meetings with Danone counterparts- Actively participate in technical and scientific meetings and conduct timely syntheses of complex information into meaningful insights and actionable items.3) Operation Support to Portfolio companies Ensure operations support to portfolio companies on active and existing support projects.

Covering the spectrum of Operations E2E (sourcing, supply chain, Quality, manufacturing) the associate manager will participate in active existing projects, supporting the companies either directly, or in their interaction with Danone counterparts, alongside the VP operations. Formulate action plans with the project team.4) Misc. Participate to show, expos, and conferences (Pack expo, FFT, Synbio Beta) Interact with Incubators, other VC funds, and Academia as requested Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, and follow up on action items with different parties Qualifications Required: Master's degree (ex: Biochemistry, Chemistry, Agronomy and Agriculture, Food Science, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering) from a recognized US university, with carefully selected majors, ideally completed with an international dual degree or at a minimum 6 month in a study abroad program Experience: The ideal candidate has had a first experience in an Innovation or Operational role, being exposed to various technologies, with the objective to evaluate the scientific basis of the technology, its use and application.

The ideal candidate has also a first experience in a VC/PE environment and is familiar with the industry codes and practices. Practical knowledge of Industrial engineering through internships and other various experiences are a plus.
