problems. You will be joining our team that aims to enable Tesla Engineering to design products and capabilities at scale over a global digital landscape. In this role, you will be leading the team and process around Engineering software evaluation and sourcing.

Working closely with Software Product Managers and stakeholders from GSM, Finance, Legal, Infosec and IT. You'll use your wide industry knowledge and strategic supplier relationships to optimize our total cost of ownership for our software tools footprint and usage for Global Design Engineering organization. Responsibilities Develop long term strategies for Design Engineering software and execute them Lead cross-functional teams

through robust supplier selection for new software while interfacing with Design Engineering leaders through early engagement, technology evaluation, sourcing, development, and optimized usage Develop and execute on sourcing strategies through close collaboration with Engineering and GSM teams to secure best commercial terms Conduct partnership and supplier negotiations including comprehensive contractual agreements.

Define cost drivers, develop cost models and provide global forecasted spend against budget Manage supplier relationships and performance in technology alignment, cost, quality, delivery and resiliency. Lead teams and end-to-end sourcing process for software and services

suppliers Requirements Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience 5 years of experience in sourcing, negotiations, or commodity management Experience in software and services sourcing and supplier management Understanding of design engineering needs and software evaluation frameworks Experience in cross-functional leadership and people management Ability to program manage multiple workstreams while working in an extremely fast-paced environment Excellent investigative skills (i.
