You’re also proactive in prioritizing and executing tasks. The Manufacturing Software Engineer will have a solid understanding and experience in creating shop floor process applications. In this role you will work with cross functional teams and management to architect

and develop custom manufacturing software applications using the following preferred languages: C++, C#, Java. Your skills will be used to visualize the process metrics in creating reports and live dashboards.

You will spend time on the production floor helping troubleshoot process software, workstations, and network issues. Key Duties & Responsibilities Create and maintain software applications and database that support manufacturing in a variety of languages C++, VBA, C#, Java, ASP. Net, My SQL, Tableau. Perform the day-to-day administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and ongoing support of the MES system. Create documentation for software usage, maintenance, and other

requirements. Works closely with management, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to design and develop intuitive custom applications to reduce downtime, maintain regulatory compliance, and improve productivity.

Create and execute advanced SQL queries to produce process metrics, reports, and live dashboards. Support the manufacturing process by troubleshooting process software, workstations, and network issues. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of networking architectures and routing Knowledge of database modeling, management, and retrieval (MYSQL and Microsoft SQL Server) Knowledge of client server architecture and communication protocols Education & Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology or relevant degree Minimum 5 years of programming experience preferably in a manufacturing environment Preferred: Experience supporting manufacturing operations Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio Experience with VC++, VBA, C# Experience with database applications such as My SQL Experience with SAP and Tableau Experience with development process tools such as Git Hub and Jira Working Conditions Work is performed in a production floor (70%), office environment, or laboratory Ability to sit or stand at workstation or work cell up to an entire work shift Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS) is a worldwide leader in water recovery, treatment, and reuse.

The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity.
