Job Summary Center Point Energy is looking for a Lead Systems Administrator to join our Technology Services Team, located in Houston, TX. You will have the ability to: be responsible for the management, maintenance, and support of our Exchange Server and Exchange Online environments.

This role requires a deep understanding of email systems, including architecture, implementation, and troubleshooting, with a particular focus on ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

Essential Functions Lead the administration and support of Exchange and Exchange Online environments for large enterprise. Implement, configure, and maintain all aspects of the Exchange environment, including but not limited to, mail routing, mail protocols, mailbox databases, and client access issues with Outlook, Outlook web, and Outlook for Apple i OS. Utilize Power Shell scripting to automate tasks, generate reports, and manage Exchange Online services. Ensure the security of the email

systems through regular updates, patches, and following best practices.

Collaborate with IT security teams to implement and maintain compliance standards. Manage and monitor high availability solutions and disaster recovery processes for the Exchange environment. Manage litigation hold for legal discovery email retention and provide discovery exports when requested. Provide Tier III support for escalated issues and work closely with the IT support team to resolve complex problems. Plan and execute migration projects, including from on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online. Develop and maintain thorough documentation on system configurations, processes, and procedures.

After hours on call service availability required. Education Description Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing Exchange and Exchange Online in a large-scale enterprise environment. Strong expertise in Power Shell scripting specifically for managing and automating tasks in Exchange. In-depth knowledge of Exchange Server and Exchange Online, including architecture, deployment, and troubleshooting. Experience with mail flow, high availability, and disaster recovery in an Exchange environment.

Knowledge of email security standards and protocols. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in relevant technologies (e. g. Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert).
