PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: ---Plan, develop, organize, write and edit corporate and operational procedures, manuals and relevant training material. ---Develop and document technical design specifications and formats. ---Control and management of documentation and manuals ---Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals when necessary.

The Technical writer will meet with departments to understand their processes
and priorities and convert them into simple but concise policies, procedures, work instructions, PFDs, with appropriate and consistent formatting including pictures, illustrations, etc.

P/Ns, control revisions and maintain and manage database and distribution.
They will continue to work on appropriate improvements to the system. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail. Proven experience as a technical writer, particularly in the solar energy or construction industry. Proficiency in using documentation tools and software (e. g. Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat). Strong proficiency with Visio, Smartsheets, and Excel. Organization skills to track document progress needed. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. EDUCATION&EXPERIENCEREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e. g. Engineering, Renewable Energy, Technical Writing) or equivalent experience. Proven experience as a technical writer, particularly in the solar energy or construction industry. Qualifications: The successful candidate must have at a minimum a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering field.
