You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedules across the portfolio, as well as the integration of subcontractor and supplier schedules. Coordinating with the Technical Program Managers, you will support resource planning and program analysis, to shape the schedule to successfully complete program milestones. Additional analysis includes
schedule risk backssments, critical path analysis, logic evaluation and variance analysis of the portfolio. This role includes setting a program cadence for status reviews of the schedule, gathering inputs from multiple internal and external stakeholders and functions (engineering, supply chain, finance, quality etc.
) to measure progress, forecast updates, and schedule metrics that you will partner with program leadership. Tasks would include Interpret contract requirements and objectives to create a thorough IMS that is executable and meets customer, quality and contract requirements Gather individual program steps, durations, dependencies, and other details from appropriate program
stakeholders to assemble into cohesive IMS that maps development programs from contract award to production handoff Provide recommendations and support to Technical Program Managers by employing best practices to ensure timely and accurate status/forecasting of work Analyze program critical paths and facilitate root cause backssments to baseline execution variances Recommend actions to program management based upon program metrics, trends and variances Evaluate schedules for IMS quality according to DCMA requirements and suggest improvements to processes Independently perform as program IMS lead in program reviews and meetings Support program risk/opportunity analysis as it relates to the IMS Lead the development and delivery of Schedule Risk backssments and IMS baselines across functional areas Actively communicate schedule dependencies, risks and mitigation plans to internal and external customers; Be able to clearly explain the IMS assumptions and dependencies to leadership Develop master phasing schedules for executive review Support proposal planning and development Ad hoc analysis and what-if scenario planning Manage SDRLs across contracts to ensure deliverable dates are met, plans to complete are in place and executed with stakeholders, and deliverables track to Risk and IMS reporting Establish and manage Risk and Opportunities plans to include risk establishment with cross-functional stakeholders, mitigation/capture steps, and plan to closure.
Perform general Program Management Liaison tasks, including interfacing with customer, coordinating inputs and deliverables among functional groups (engineering, supply chain, quality, contracts), and ensuring performance goals and deliverables are met and stakeholders are on-track for performance objectives SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS A Bachelors Degree Finance, Business, Management or Engineering or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years relevant experience in program planning or program management Advanced knowledge of MS Project and experience developing integrated, resource-loaded master schedules across a portfolio of programs Critical thinker who can offer recommendations for different ways to view program performance and execution to facilitate decision making Demonstrated proficiency in schedule analysis.
Experience analyzing for IMS quality (DCMA IMS requirements) and ability to produce valid critical paths, applying root cause analysis to variance recovery. Knowledge in the application of integrated cost/schedule methods Strong communication skills Proficiency in MS Office Programs (Power Point, Excel, Word) Strong creative problem-solving, collaboration, critical thinking, and time management skills Organized and self-motivated with excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills Ability to efficiently and effectively manage multiple priorities while meeting program deadlines US Citizenship This candidate for position must meet export control and other special program access compliance requirements.
