backssments, biological backssments, development of protective stipulations, and resource management plans. Responsible for identification of impacts to wildlife habitat and Threatened and Endangered species by other resource activities.
The specialist evaluates inventory and monitoring data to determine population trends and impacts, then formulates strategies designed to recover or mitigate impacts. The biologist designs and implements habitat improvement and restoration projects for the field office in coordination with other programs, other federal agencies, state agency representatives and where possible with non-government organizations. The specialist generates and maintains partnerships
to assist in design, implementation and monitoring of habitat improvement and restoration projects.

Job Summary: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in deploying and maintaining common bat acoustic detectors (preferably Wildlife Acoustics detectors), reading and understanding detector outputs and summary files, and maintaining large acoustic data sets.
