This role is designed for individuals with client service, sales and cash handling experience looking to have a career in banking. This position is a floating role for our Boulder and Longmont locations. The specific responsibilities are further outlined below: Client Service Performs Teller duties, cashes checks, savings withdrawals, and issues cashier’s checks; confirms all necessary documents are properly authorized, are in proper form and are within authorized limits; makes decisions when questionable items are presented for cashing.
Responsible for providing a high-quality client experience for new, existing, and prospective clients. Effectively communicates the value of Flatirons Bank to clients in order to market, deepen, and grow relationships. Cross-sells the Bank’s products and services (primarily deposit related products and services) and refers clients to appropriate staff as appropriate. Manages a small book of business by actively connecting with clients to build lasting relationships. Operations Support Makes decisions regarding the opening of new accounts; assigns account numbers; obtains and properly files all required CIP and other required documentation; verifies credit and/or account history as appropriate.
Provides support to all assigned areas of branch operations where service or assistance is needed, including new accounts, teller, operations, and safe deposit. Performs other duties related to branch operations on a daily basis. Reconciles internal accounts on a rotating basis, which includes researching and resolving outstanding items. Provides online banking support to new and existing clients. May process ATM Access card requests, DDA lines of credit (Overdraft Protection), credit card, and debit card applications.
Adheres to Bank policies, government regulations and legal requirements. Performs other operational duties as required.
