facilities.Perform design work for the development and modification of company equipment and facilities.Evaluate, Design, Specify, draft and order equipment/systems used in the plant, in any of the subsystems such as Control Systems, Piping Layout, Structural modifications, or instrumentation.Gather field information to properly layout equipment design.Obtain necessary drawings and other documentation for the design.Work with others in using and development of plant standards or procedures.Maintain and update existing drawings as new equipment is installed or exiting equipment is modified.The typical responsibilities described herein represent a major portion of the job.
