In this role, the Sr. Art Director will oversee a team of designers-validating and directing their work as well as providing project opportunities for their development.

They will manage the day-to-day and work with the team to develop creative solutions in response to marketing briefs. This role works collaboratively with other team leads (within creative / cross-functionally) to develop effective communications and experiences. MUST BE IN LA AND ABLE TO COMMUTE TO THE OFFICE TUES AND THURS Responsibilities

Oversee the design and provide feedback of assets for large projects across all user touchpoints-digital, print, and paid social media to ensure they are on brand.

Manage, onboard and train 2 designers and a large, separately managed team of designers. Work alongside account and project managers to improve process and communicate creative needs. Concept and create proof of concepts for bimonthly consumables photoshoots. Ability to concept/design assets and brand campaigns as needed. Lead partnerships and a foster collaborate environment within creative (copy/design leads/strategy/ops) and cross-functionally (site ops/marketing/integrated strategy). Ensure campaign vis id is applied successfully

across ecosystem. Convert a strategy and overarching platform/vis id into an executional style guide.

Develop creative leadership decks to gain alignment setting the team up for success. Requirements 8+ years of professional design experience in advertising, e-commerce, and production 3+ years of management experience Photo art direction experience ideally in the pet/baby or the lifestyle space Figma knowledge is ideal and Powerpoint design skills Agency expirence is ideal Proficiency in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Microsoft Office Retouching (clipping, extending backgrounds, compositing etc. ) and layout (type, color theory, hierarchy, balance) capabilities.
