Striking a balance between art and science, our creativity is strongly rooted in collaboration between clients and designers to create enduring and memorable places. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Assists with graphic renderings and 3D visualization. Assists with the preparations of plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Assists with planning, organizing and performance multiple landscape architecture
projects. Travels to work sites and other project related locations, as necessary. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Degree Programs: Selected candidates will be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution.
Minimum Cumulative GPA:2.8. Desired GPA 3.2. Working knowledge of technical software such Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up, Arc GIS a plus. Experience with Auto CAD a plus. Able to apply landscape architecture concepts to problem solving involving site design issues. Developing knowledge and skills in design software. (i. e. Photoshop, Sketchup, In Design, etc. ) Able to work well in a team environment. Well organized with the
ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Good interpersonal written & verbal communication skills.
Good time management, organizational and problem-solving skills. Good attention to detail. Students must possess a valid driver's license and their own transportation. You will be reimbursed for business-related travel. Interested candidates are required to upload a minimum of 3 work samples (portfolio) in pdf. format with their resume. Each year we look for variety of experience, education, and ability for our student intern pool. Some positions may be filled with students who have experience depending on the level of complexity a project or client may require.
Preference may be given to students who have completed a previous internship with Bolton & Menk. Relocation and housing are not included.
