Job Summary: The Project Architect will plan and design, and/or facilitate the execution of new building designs or renovations according to clients' needs, desires, and financial resources. Duties/Responsibilities: Serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external partners involved with assigned projects.
Applies sound and diverse knowledge of architecture principles, practices, and construction methodologies in a broad array of project types. Acts independently regarding architectural methods and complexities. Researches applicable codes, laws, and standards. Provides overall responsibility for the preparation of Contract Documents and contract requirements in preparation
for various milestone reviews, permitting, and construction. Collaborates with contractors and clients to facilitate the building process to meet clients' program.
Performs other related duties as assigned. Provides project / administrative oversight for 2-4 architectural staff. Effectively demonstrate technical detailing and problem-solving skills Be a technical resource for project teams. Ability to identify client expectations and preferred method of communication. Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills Extremely proficient with computer-aided design (CAD) software such as Auto CAD and Revit Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software Excellent
problem-solving, negotiation, and consultation skills Proficient at reading and understanding code, accessibility and other regulatory Intermediate understanding of AIA contracts Education and Experience: Professional degree in Architecture required Minimum five years of relevant experience in multifamily or hospitality preferred Active board licensure required
