Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS), Beavercreek Ohio, is seeking a Dev Ops Engineer/ Principal Dev Ops Engineer in support of programs at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Successful candidates
should have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The candidate will be an active part of a Dev Ops Engineering team with expertise in Git Lab, Kubernetes, Harbor, and related Dev Ops technologies. They will play a pivotal role in development and maintenance of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. This candidate will be planned to support a production environment on site at NASIC/WPAFB once properly cleared to support mission critical needs. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.
Basic Qualifications for a Dev Ops Engineer: One of the following: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline Minimum of 2 years experience implementing Dev Ops and CI/CD technologies Knowledgeable in development of CI/CD Pipelines Able to obtain IAT Level II certification such as CASP+ or Security+ U.
S. citizenship with ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance Basic Qualifications for a Principal Dev Ops Engineer: One of the following: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with 3 years of experience Minimum of 2 years experience implementing Dev Ops and CI/CD technologies Knowledgeable in development of CI/CD Pipelines Able to obtain IAT Level II certification such as CASP+ or Security+ U.
S. citizenship with ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance Preferred Qualifications: Experience with OCI-compliant container technology and tools (Docker, Podman, etc. ) Experience developing automation techniques that improve deployment speed and service reliability in the containerized environment Experience working in an Agile environment/working knowledge of Agile principles and practices Dev Ops or Cloud related certifications VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG) or similar Dev Ops architectures Salary Range: $79,300 - $118,900 Salary Range 2: $97,500 - $146,300 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
