is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Developer II in Denver, CO. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: The Software Developer II supports the design, engineering, analysis, and development of software systems. They assist in designing, analyzing, and developing software delivery processes, including development and operations (Dev Ops) pipelines.
They support modeling and analyzing software development and deployment processes as well as development of Agile processes, plans, and architectures to support software development, analysis, and operations. The Software Developer II is a journeyman experienced in all aspects of IT application development.
The Software Developer II takes direction from more senior personnel. Minimum Experience: 4 years of related experience Minimum Education: BS/BA Allowed Experience Exchange: HS and 8 years of experience; Associates and 6 years of experience Allowed Education Exchange: A candidate holding a relevant Masters’ degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education.
A candidate holding a relevant Ph D degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education. Required Certifications 2 years of position-specific relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in an IT or related discipline. Do D 8570.01-m IAT Level-II Certification. Desired Certifications Bachelor’s
degree in software development or related discipline. 2 years of experience in an Agile development environment.
Security Clearance Requirements: Top Secret with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%. Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,000-$129,200. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
