We produce open source client libraries, code samples, tutorials, and other developer-focused artifacts to help external developers be successful on GCP, and engage with product engineering teams to help them understand the developer experience as a critical part of the platform.
We support hundreds of APIs across 8 languages, and provide the first interaction many developers will have with Google's platform. Our goal is to provide delightful language idiomatic experiences to developers across the world. As a Developer Programs Engineer (DPE) on the Google Cloud Libraries and Information Experience (CLi X) team, you will focus on long term support for handwritten client libraries (Big
Query, Pub/Sub, Bigtable, others). You'll write sample code, tools, and features for client libraries, and work with product engineering teams to improve our products by conveying feedback from developers, reviewing API designs, and testing new features.
Your work will focus on Java libraries. Responsibilities Maintain existing Java client libraries to comply with Long Term Support (LTS) requirements (backport security fixes, monitor customer issues). Build idiomatic SDKs/client libraries, samples, and other developer tools in Java to improve the developer experience of using Google s platforms and APIs. Partner with product-aligned engineering teams to understand and improve the developer
experience of our Google Cloud Big Query and Pub/Sub client libraries.
Assist third party developers in troubleshooting their integrations with Google APIs and use of other Google developer products. Improve automation efforts to support our own improved developer experience. Job Description: Experience with cloud Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect ---Have a good working Experience on different cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP ---Understands the Cloud backssment methodology & Cloud Migration Framework, tools ---Good backssment & analysis skills to be able to map the collected cloud attributes to the decision tree rules for cloud suitability, cloud migration patterns etc.
