Designer III to join our Interiors team in our Sacramento office. An ideal candidate is capable of providing technical and administrative support to project teams regarding software, programs, materials, processes, and procedures.

This individual should also be able to provide a level of technical and design documentation and commit to executing office standards of design, quality control, and production. Sound like you? As the Interior Designer III, you will… Oversee the development of BIM/Revit design and documentation

of drawings. Manage aspects of concept design of plans, sections, elevations, and basic detailing, including the selection of finishes and materials. Provide guidance and direction to junior staff on deliverables.

Coordinate the production and coordination of drawings and specifications, including consultant coordination of projects. Conduct project research and incorporate it into the project; become the team's resource for material and products through experience. Understand the impact of building codes, agency, and jurisdiction requirements in the development and production of solutions for moderately complex design problems. Manage construction administration for moderately complex

projects and involve senior staff in problem-solving. Coordinate consultants consistent with the scope of work, as requested.

Develop furniture specifications and provide training to others. Participate in all design and project documentation phases and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrate consistent time management skills, completing tasks accurately and on schedule. Mentor less experienced staff in time management and the use of basic project management tools. Develop presentation materials to support the project team's design and marketing efforts. Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and have the ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of individuals.

Provide guidance to less experienced staff in organizational skills. Proficient in the use of 3D program drawing skills and serves as a resource to the studio. Adhere to and direct less experienced staff in The Lionakis Way standards for design, quality control, and production. Contribute to the development of these standards. Assist project leads to ensure commitments made to clients align with the scope of work and support project leaders in directing staff to achieve project goals. Review and evaluate documents for accuracy and coordination for project teams in preparation for formal Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC).

Delegate tasks to Interior Designers. Assist in the development of work plans and aids senior staff with fee development. Interior Designer III Qualifications – The Must-Haves (Required) Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years interior design or architectural project experience, or Associate's degree and a minimum of 6 years of related experience. Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point). Proficient with BIM/Revit Experience with Photoshop Interior Designer II Qualifications – The Like-to-Haves (Not Required) Basic skills in Adobe In Design, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Google Sketch Up Prior experience with Civic and/or Healthcare projects LEED accreditation Salary Range: $61,900-$82,100 annually.
