Your Career As a Technical Enablement Architect at Palo Alto Networks, you are responsible for improving the product and industry knowledge of technical team members from the sales, customer support, and professional services organizations. This senior technical role partners with the Technical Content and Global Enablement teams to design product and industry training. Individuals in
this role are focused on the Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud portfolio, which provides comprehensive Cloud security to customer environments.
The position is primarily responsible for technical aspects of the product training, such as product features, configuration, deployment, and optimization using tools within the product. The scope and function of this position require close coordination with Systems Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Professional Services, Customer Support, and other Shared Services teams. This role will focus on the Prisma Cloud portfolio and report to the Senior Director of Technical Enablement. All candidates must have relevant technical Public Cloud experience and an understanding of technical training methods and tools.
Experience in Public Cloud (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) architecture and operations is ideal for this position. Your Impact Maintain a deep technical understanding of public cloud security solutions (Cloud Security Posture Management, Cloud Workload Protection, Code Security) and Prisma Cloud products, new product updates, and industry trends. Support ongoing technical enablement activities for new hires to develop skills to deliver effective customer presentations, demonstrations, and product deployments related to Prisma Cloud solutions (Cloud Security Posture Management, Cloud Workload Protection, Code Security).
Serve as Public Cloud industry subject matter expert related to Public Cloud tools, operations, and concepts Collaborate with stakeholders on the design of Prisma Cloud learning paths for technical personas Partner with Prisma Cloud Technical Enablement Specialists to determine learning objectives and supporting content or activities Work with the Technical Content team to review courses or enablement content information Support the delivery of public cloud security solutions (Cloud Security Posture Management, Cloud Workload Protection, Code Security) and Prisma Cloud products technical enablement sessions, workshops, backssments, and certifications, remote or in person, to various technical personas Participate in stakeholder interlock meetings with Prisma Cloud technical sales leadership, product management, and customer support/delivery leaders to review a rolling 4-quarter enablement plan for feedback, refinement, and augmentation.
Partner with the platform team to maintain the accuracy of postings and learning journeys. Participate in technical enablement communications to Prisma Cloud stakeholders and technical personas Leverage data and metrics to correlate program participation to performance outcomes, making course corrections as needed to ensure desired results are achieved Qualifications Relevant Public Cloud technical experience working with Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud as a Cloud Architect, Engineer, or equivalent Strong technical knowledge of public cloud architecture and operations in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
Deep understanding of VPC architecture and concepts Knowledge of Public Cloud development concepts such as containers, serverless, Kubernetes, and Terraform Knowledge of Amazon Web Services provider tools such as AWS Key Management, Amazon Inspector, AWS Cloud Trail Understandingof Microsoft Azure tools such as Azure Key Vault, Azure Security Center, and Azure Policy Experience with cloud application deployments and maintenance Minimum of 4 years experience as a public cloud practitioner or cloud application developer Experience with cybersecurity technical products and solutions Understand the cybersecurity market and relevant business drivers Skilled in effective communication with technical personas Basic understanding of technical enablement Ability to apply technical differentiators and insights to support teams in competitive positioning with customers Highly motivated, energetic, collaborative, and self-starter who demonstrates leadership, adaptability, flexibility, and integrity Ability to travel up to 20% Our Commitment We're trailblazers that dream big, take risks, and challenge cybersecurity's status quo.
