As a senior engineer on the team, you will work with us to build new functionality that will make it easier, faster, and safer to build for a high scale, growing customer base, and expanding technology footprint.
Additionally, you will work closely with other engineers in the organization, who integrate the tools and interfaces we develop. You will be responsible for building well-designed, extensible code; and shaping best practices both on the team
and within the broader engineering organization. WHO YOU ARE 5+ years of development experience with a strong focus on back-end systems Prior experience working as a leader in a team environment Strong understanding of distributed system design, data structures, and algorithms A self-starter with great communication and organizational skills Bonus: Professional experience with any of Ruby, Rails, Mongo DB, Redis, Memcached, Sidekiq, Go, React Professional experience building distributed systems at scale For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $170,000 and $184,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE)
between $180,000 and $200,000/year (including bonus or commission).
