backss effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement Assisting with Canvas support including content uploads, user support, and reporting functions Other duties and projects as assigned by the Supervisor to support department and organizational needs Qualifications Must possess a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with the Joni and Friends statement of faith Desire to serve in a growing and dynamic Christian service ministry BS or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar Solid experience with Learning Management Systems, specifically Canvas Basic HTML knowledge for use in Learning Management Systems Adobe Creative Apps or other visual design
tools for use as media in online coursework Proven work experience in instructional design and with instructional technology Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models Lesson and curriculum planning skills Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Must be able to travel, domestically and internationally, and work evenings and weekends as needed Able to work effectively with Joni and Friends’ service departments to leverage partnerships for ministry success Understanding of Christian ministry and specifically Joni and Friends is desirable Compensation for this position is $58,000 - $65,000 depending upon location, as it can be a remote position.
