Your Role: The Principal Enterprise Architect serves as a member of the CTO office or a senior staff within each of the individual business or technology domains within IT.

They will play a key role in defining, planning, and realizing the enterprise technology vision aligned with the business and IT strategy. Responsibilities include researching, analyzing, designing, proposing, and delivering business solutions that are appropriate for the corporate, business and technology strategies. Your work: Facilitating designs and building solutions across the enterprise, with a focus on evolving our technical capabilities in support of delivering business capabilities. Solutions are built in

a highly collaborative environment, partnering with engineering, product, and program leaders Leads and provides direction to Application Integration, Data, and Platform architecture vision for the enterprise Works on the most sophisticated projects and supplies to the overall strategic vision of the organization Integrates a broad range of ideas regarding technical and solution architecture, while developing strategies for migration toward the cloud architectural vision Partners with business leaders to provide expert technical advice and influence strategic decision making backss industry trends (business and technology) and appropriately position their subject areas Provides thought leadership, build strategies and make recommendations on a wide variety of sophisticated issues having a significant and strategic impact on processes and the business Crafts, guides, and partners with other architects in crafting and maintaining roadmaps that connect business strategies to capabilities and provide a milestone-view of the cadence needed to move from current state to future state Delivers a clear, pragmatic, approach with applicability to meet immediate business needs Demonstrates a strong ability to learn new information and systems quickly, works successfully in a highly matrixed organization Effectively handle priorities, deliverables and timelines with little need for partner concern Demonstrates a strong bias for architecture principles balanced with tactical schedules, cost, and risks Leverage the appropriate mix of in-house and outsourced resources to protect intellectual property Required Experience, Education and Skills 5+years experience with AWS Demonstrated ability with open source, open source governance and licensing Experience with developing patterns and solutions for an enterprise 7-10 years demonstrated ability being an architect in the financial services/insurance industry 5+ years proven experience with policy administrations systems including EIS and Guidewire 3+ years proven experience servicing an architectural runway with SAFe 5+ years of knowledge of de-coupling approaches, microservices and domain drive design 5+ years crafting API's and associated security Understands the security by design approach 3+ years proven experience with big data What would make us excited about you?

However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $165,600 - $245,100. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 15% of eligible pay. Factors used to determine the actual salary offered may include location, experience, or education.
