Job Summary Raytheon is seeking a talented Principal Software Engineer to join a talented team that develops enhancements and modifications to existing software systems.

The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge with software engineering object-oriented technologies. Location: Aurora, CO (Onsite) Responsibilities to Anticipate: · Troubleshoot system anomalies related to software, system configuration, network interfaces and

operating system issues · Coordinate software installs/upgrades with adherence to Configuration Management (CM) procedures and policies · Software architecture design, development and testing · Develop/maintain system tools and documentation as required Basic Qualifications: Must have a current DODI 8570.1-M IAT Level II (Security+ ) (minimum) certification or attain Security + certification within 60 days of hire date Current TS/SCI with CI Poly " Active and transferable U.

S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date" " U. S. citizenship is required, as only U. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. " Experience with Eclipse

IDE Java experience within a UNIX/Linux environment Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities Demonstrated problem solving skills Ability to perform all aspects of the software development lifecycle to include requirements definition Ability to provide a variety of technical solutions for a wide range of difficult problems Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to clearly communicate with inner-organizational and customer contacts Become an active member of our existing team of talented developers.

The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 236,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
