The launcher, designed with open architecture principles, will be assembled and integrated at Dynetics facilities in Huntsville, AL. The Enduring Shield launch system is currently in a prototype / development test phase in partnership with PM SHIELD, within PEO Missiles and Space, US Army.

Upon completion of the prototype phase, expected in mid 2024, the program will transition through Operational backssment, IOT&E into Limited Rate Initial Production (LRIP) with full rate production for both the US as well as expected sales to international customers. It is expected that product area will lead to approximately $500 M annual sales in full rate production. Successful candidate will report

directly to the Vice President of the Enduring Shield Program within our Product Development and Manufacturing Division. The selected candidate will provide program management support within the ongoing prototype/development program, will lead the missile datalink effort as a follow-on developmental and test program which merges into the launcher prototypes, and will support other internal research and development associated with the Enduring Shield Launching System product area.

The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will be: Serve as program manager for key projects underneath the Enduring Shield portfolio with initial emphasis on Missile Datalink integration to provide

in-flight target updates to the missile Program Management (cost, schedule, technical, risk/opportunity management) support to the VP of Enduring Shield for the execution of contracts/programs/activities within the Enduring Shield Launching System product area.

Maintain a healthy business rhythm to ensure contract deliverables, program reviews, and other leadership artifacts are continuously improved Basic Qualifications: Typically requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience Generally has 8+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects Ability to obtain a DOD Secret security clearance Demonstrated ability / experience leading significant program management tasks with high complexity and annual budgets of at least $10 M, with preference to $50 M+ Experience working in leadership positions on a large/complex program using earned value management to drive project performance Demonstrated ability to establish and track program baselines for design & development, manufacturing, and test programs to mature Prototypes into Production Demonstrated ability to successfully engage, motivate, and retain a diverse workforce of both engineers and production personnel Demonstrated ability developing messaging and materials to support engagements with senior customers, including SES and Flag Officer levels Must be able to travel 25 - 35% of time Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Other Qualifications: Prior experience with hardware/software product development and production programs with preference for missile and weapon systems Prior experience with international / foreign military sales Prior experience with manufacturing execution to establish production lines and backs manufacturing readiness level is preferred Security Requirements: Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance Pay Range: Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
