To this end, we are looking for a Software Systems Architect to work with our leadership team and manage the day to day IT operations. We are looking for someone who can digest, follow and improve upon our existing roadmap to manage daily and long term IT needs, and is able to communicate with our team members in a clear and professional manner to ensure integration of software in daily operations.
Primary and On-Going Daily Responsibilities: Oversee the development and maintenance of all software systems including Somadome app, administration console, back end services, data storage Lead as the project
owner and oversee the development of hardware technology components including control boards, LED lighting, and touchscreen interfaces for the Somadome and Somadome Market products Present bi-weekly reports on the company’s technology status and development Align technology resources resources with the organization’s goals: Interface between business and development teams to ensure the software being developed is meeting business requirements and is in line with the Company’s technology roadmap in the areas of user experience, customer service, ability for Company to provide adequate tech servicing, security, documentation of software and ensuring that the software can be seamlessly passed to
another development team if needed, beta testing, and app deployment, all within a predetermined timeline.
Review firmware functionality of our new control board and provide advice as it pertains to allowing us to execute our vision as defined in our technology roadmap. Point out any potential issues you see with the new design before Company moves to production. Provide a vision for the future of the company as it pertains to product development and provide advice on the technology it requires so that management can construct a detailed roadmap. Assist in recruiting, onboarding and training IT personnel: Assist in the interview and recruit for a long-term software developer/technology PM.
Help to vet the technological capabilities of candidates and provide best recommendations. Where appropriate, make recommendations and facilitate the process of onboarding new contractors and employees to fulfill short and long term technology needs. Identify resources needed to meet ongoing company technology objectives Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 / year depending on experience and level of expertise with opportunity to earn bonus and equity structure
