In addition you will: Design analog and digital circuits (including power conversion) Designs includes use of Power Over Ethernet (Po E) Interface with our development program leads, engineering and manufacturing organizations as well as internal and external customers throughout the program lifecycle.
Implement the appropriate requirements, processes, procedures, and tools as this development program will lead to the future generation of products. Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and products. perform test integration and development in a lab-based environment. This position is contingent upon receipt of contract from customer. This position may be considered as a Principal or Sr. Principal Electrical / Electronics Engineer. Basic Qualifications for Principal Electrical / Electronics Engineer: BS degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) and 5+ years, or MS degree and 3+ years, or Ph D and 0+ years Experience in analog, digital, and mixed electronic system design and analysis (including simulation) for power supply circuitry (full life-cycle experience required) Must have U.
S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with SSBI polygraph Basic Qualifications for Sr Principal Electrical / Electronics Engineer: BS degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) and 9+ years, or MS degree and 7+ years, or Ph D and 4+ years Experience in analog, digital, and mixed electronic system design and analysis (including simulation) for power supply circuitry (full life-cycle experience required) Must have U.
S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with SSBI polygraph Preferred Qualifications: Active TS/SCI with SSBI polygraph Advanced Degrees in Electrical Engineering or comparable engineering discipline Architecture/requirements development and trade studies Application experience that includes signal conditioning, shielding, control and feedback systems, etc. Experience with Power Over Ethernet (Po E) Self-sufficient in use of oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, etc.
Experience with system reliability Experience developing qualification test plans and procedures Experience with system development Demonstrated expertise in field (e. g. journal published, patents) Salary Range: $104,600 - $157,000 Salary Range 2: $129,700 - $194,500 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
