EDRAY's development teams as they continuously develop and improve EDRAY's innovative logistics management platform and build seamless integrations within the port logistics and drayage space. The Applications Architect will work with IT and business leadership to develop application requirements, create product roadmaps, and guide the development teams.
The Application Architect should have extensive web platform development knowledge and be experienced working with business stakeholders to evaluate and optimize business processes and translate those needs into technical requirements in order to deliver a world class logistics visibility and management platform. EDRAY is a fast-moving,
fast-growing organization and is looking for a team leader who can play the architect role while maintaining an active role in the development of the platform and mentor the development teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Design, test and maintain technical architecture Provide supervision and mentoring to development teams (this includes hiring and interviewing as we build out our team) Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes where as appropriate Inform internal and external stakeholders about any issues with the current technical solutions being implemented Continuously
backss the impact of business requirements and educate business stakeholders to help ensure good choices are made Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs and budgets Stay up to date on the latest technology trends and solutions to keep us on the cutting edge logistics technology.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) REQUIRED: 5+ years proven work experience as a Solution Architect or similar role (Lead Engineer / Application Architect/ App Dev Manager who remained hands-on) Previous project management experience is helpful REQUIRED: Fluent in react, typescript, tailwind, nx, and styled-components Experience with Node JS, IIS,Net, C# Docker experience and exposure to Microsoft Azure, specifically with container management Extensive experience in aligning application development with business needs.
