DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Application development operates using the. Net 4. x framework and Microsoft SQL databases. Documentation and collaboration use Microsoft Teams or similar platforms. Future development may also include. Net 5, modern OOP languages such as Python and Java Script, data analytics languages including R, continual integration/continual deployment (CI/CD) pipeline architecture and containerization technology such as git, Docker, Jenkins, or Teraform.
Support may include, but is not limited to, technical support services, network support, system administration, telecommunications, computer security, cybersecurity, system software and hardware support and maintenance
to include data and metric assistance for lifecycle replacement, support to organizational Information Management Offices (IMOs) and S6 offices for information asset management, and mobile computing device support.
Analyze and solve problems, determine source of problems (e. g. application issues or user error). Designs, deploys, and maintains custom web sites and applications. Independently work with users to identify and resolve application issues by corrective actions. Develop and execute test plans, test scripts and test scenarios for existing application enhancements based on documented change requests. Resolve all known defects prior to user acceptance testing. Provide custom reports
for executive level staff. Ensure projects are on track with due dates, testing, documentation, training and communicating with stakeholders and management.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is preferred. Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience. Must have and maintain a baseline certification as stipulated in Do D 8570.01 and Do D 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technology (IAT) Levels I and II (Security + CE). Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (U. S. Citizenship required).
Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Microsoft Certified Solution Develop (MCSD) certification preferred. Application and database expertise to include software design, development, implementation and maintenance of the APHC enterprise platforms, both MS SQL and ORACLE. Skilled in data processing techniques, database management, and management information system concepts and applications. Cyber security remediation expertise to assure compliance with STIGS, OPORDS, and VDPs. Experience with Business App Reporting software such as ASPOSE, TELRIK, and CRYSTAL REPORTS is desired.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None. Job Requirements WORK SCHEDULE 40 hours per week. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project. DRIVING REQUIREMENT None. TRAVEL Occasional travel between IT support facilities. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is performed in an office environment the majority of the time. Long hours may be needed by project demand. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.
